![]() September 14, 2008 Brooches from old eyeglass lenses Photos from our September 2008 Workshop Creating fanciful, one-of-a-kind brooches was a lot of fun! We took images from old children's books, magazines and books used the magic Modge Podge to seal it to the inside of an eyeglass lens (so many shapes!) and added some flair to finish them off. The creativity and artistry of everyone in the workshop was impressive! |

More advanced crafters created sock monkeys (takes 2 socks) and everyone sewed their fingers to the bone! |

Frames, boxes and votives of all sorts were découpaged into one-of-a-kind gifts. We really all had fun and were proud of our creations in the end. What more could you ask for?! :-) |

Finding just the right color combinations of beads and bobbles and learning how to twist the wire and beads together 'just so' was fun and challenging. Everyone left proudly wearing their dramatic new piece of jewelry. |

![]() August 23, 2009 Fabric Covered Button Charm Bracelet and Clips Photos from our August 2009 Workshop In this workshop we made darling, unique custom charm bracelet and hair clips using fabric buttons that we covered ourselves! There was a wide selection of vintage, japanese and adorable fabric squares to choose from too. We all learned out to use a nifty little fabric button maker tool that was a take-home bonus! |

![]() November 8 , 2009 Photos from our November 2009 Workshop We learned how to create fabric Yo-Yos and then fashion them into nifty necklaces and collars! Fabric yo-yos were popular in the early 19th century as a fun and funky use for leftover fabric scraps. It is an old-school classic craft! Making fabric yo-yos is actually really quick and easy once you've got the hang of it! You can then amass an army of them to add as embellishments to all kinds of things! |
