TATE'S has joined OPERATION SEQUENTIAL ART

Help fight the "War on Boredom" by cleaning out your closets or garage and donating your comics to a good cause!

Q. What is "Operation Sequential Art?"
A. It's a coalition of Comic Book Retailers who mail their overstock and customer's donations of
comics to military personnel stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Started by Orlando-based "A Comic Shop".

Q. How do I know the you won't go through my collection and keep the better comics to sell at the store?
A. You have our word on it that we won't!! Obviously, that would be a really scuzzy move and we pride
ourselves on not being scuzzy. :-) If anyone hears of a retailer doing this, please notify report@opseqart.com.

Q. What if I oppose the war?
A. No problem, we'll send your comics to Afghanistan and Iraq instead of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Seriously, it's not about politics, it's about people like yourselves who will enjoy and appreciate your donations.

Q. When should I bring my comics in?
A. Anytime that we are open! When you are dropping them off, please let the TATE'S employee
at the register up front know that they are for Operation Sequential Art!

Our summertime donation drive has ended. We will begin another drive in the winter of 2009.

For more information on this operation nationwide, visit: http://www.opseqart.com/

TATE'S first Operation Sequential Art donation drive was August 16 - September 21, 2008.

Thank you to everyone who brought in comics, manga and graphic novels to be sent overseas!
We had an excellent amount of donations and we are working on unbagging and boxing them up for shipment.

The first two boxes (27 pounds worth) went out on September 23, 2008.
We are going to be sending out two boxes a week until we run out of comics!

If you know anyone overseas that would appreciate a shipment, send us their full shipping address!
Otherwise we are locating them through the website http://anysoldier.com/.
