What will you spend your $25 on? We both agreed on books/illustrated novels! How long have you been visiting TATE'S? December 2007 How old are you? Danielle: 26 / Mike: 29 How do you make a living? Danielle: I’m an Executive Assistant by day… and an artist by night! / Mike: Freelance graphic designer If you could do ANYTHING, how would you make a living? Danielle: Just working on anything art/music related…I would love to just paint all day. / Mike: Making music. Do you have any pets? We have a Jack Russell Terrier named Buddy, an evil cockatiel named Dookie-Two and our luchador chihuahua Jimmy Chew. Do you have any tattoos? Nope…we don’t. What was you favorite toy as a child? — Now? Danielle: When I was really young, my favorite toy was my stuffed Grover (from Sesame Street)…and then of course my Nintendo. And now? FRANK and his scrappy demigodling companions PUSHPAW & PUPSHAW! (and my XBOX!) / Mike: A mix of Legos, plastic Cowboys & Indians and Hot Wheels. Now: Bender, an out of this world authentic Futurama figure! What is your most bizarre childhood memory? Danielle: Having an alligator as my imaginary friend. / Mike: Watching a pig get slaughtered. What is the one thing that irritates you the most? Danielle: Malicious gossip. / Mike: Alarm clocks. What is your favorite smell? Danielle: Fresh laundry / Mike: Vinyl stickers What do you collect? We collect toys, artwork, prints, records, music, graffiti/street stickers, mid century furniture and misc. vintage stuff. What are some of your hobbies? Danielle: Painting, playing video games, chilling out to music, organizing/cleaning (believe it or not), spending hours on the internet / Mike: Making music, listening to music, and playing video games. What is your Favorite Comic/Manga? Danielle: Ah..hard to choose. But definitely anything from Daniel Clowes and Charles Burns / Mike: Black Hole by Charles Burn What is your Favorite Anime/Cartoon? Danielle & Mike: Anime: FLCL / Cartoons (currently): Futurama, Bob's Burgers and Vintage Cartoons... What is your Most Favorite Movie? Danielle: Anchorman / Mike: The Big Lebowski What is your Favorite Bumper Sticker? Danielle: I Love Malfi. / Mike: Horn Broken. Watch For Finger. What is your Favorite T-Shirt? Danielle: Not a big fan of the Simpsons…more of a Futurama kinda gal. But I guess I’ll say identify with Marge the most…because my husband is a living Homer. / Mike: Well, I guess I HAVE to say Homer. Most treasured possession?
